Jack's Story...
Here's Jack! This handsome Chihuahua came to us with his Jesse as rescues, from a shelter in California. He is a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he is very sweet and wants to be a lap dog. He is about 5 years old and weighs 8-10 lbs. He is neutered, up-to-date on shot, and house-trained. He gets along well with other small dogs and would be in doggie heaven to be adopted together with his sister Jesse! They grew up together and have a great friendship. In an effort to keep them together in a new home. the adoption fee for the one dog is reduced slightly to $150; the second dog adopted at the same time is reduced to $75. Please consider welcoming them to your home. For a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire, email us at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Layton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Layton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Layton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Layton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Layton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Layton paves the way for another one to be saved.
