Gypsy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gypsy's Story...
Gypsy is a 1.5 year old Mini Aussie/Lab mix weighing around 40lbs. She's built like a border collie and has a coat very similar. She's beautiful and has brains to match. Gypsy knows sit, lay, release, and she fetches. Not only will she chase the ball but she'll bring it back as well! Gypsy is completely house and kennel trained and loves to go for walks. She's a pretty calm dog with the exception of spurts of play so I think it's safe to describe her as a medium energy level. Gypsy would do best with a home that will take her for walks and out on family activities. Email us for more information on adopting this girl! Adoption fee is $225.00 for this pet. This generally includes age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, a wellness exam, dewormer, fecal, hw and flea preventative that is given while in our care, microchip and sometimes registration depending on the company, as well as any other medications or procedures needed while in our care. email raesance@gmail.com for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsy, a Metairie Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd for sale in Metairie, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Metairie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Metairie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Metairie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Metairie paves the way for another one to be saved.
