Hi everyone! My name is Winnie.

I am a 4-year-old, 19 lb., female Schnauzer mix who loves to cuddle and get all the attention. My favorite thing is when someone pets or rubs on me. I am always the first to climb on my foster Mom’s lap.

I am learning to come when called because that means I will get loved on. Sleeping on the bed and cuddling up to my foster Mom is the greatest. Playing with toys and chewies is good, too. I have lots of energy and love walking in the park, running in the yard and exploring. Looking for someone who will walk, run, or hike with me.

I did not have the best first years in life. Wandering the streets all my life was not good. Now life is much better in a foster home. When I came, I had never lived with people and didn’t know how to behave.

I have come a long way in learning how to trust and get along. Potty training was new to me but I’m doing pretty well. Someone who can be both gentle and firm with me would be good so I can keep learning the rules of good behavior.

No young kids and no more than one other dog, please. My adoption fee is $300. Are you the right home for me? I promise to will love you forever.

Winnie is being fostered in Cincinnati by Kathi. She is spayed, UTD on shots, micro chipped, and HW negative.
