Have you ever wanted to meet a cat that is crate trained? Well, Miss Daphne is your girl! Daphne is a gorgeous cat with the distinct round face and short nose of a Persian. Her big green eyes are sure to captivate you! She would make an amazing member of a family and is ready to be welcomed into her forever home.
Daphne came to us as a stray, but in spite of the time she may have spent loose and fending for herself, she is gentle, even-tempered, and sweet.
She is not particularly fond of other cats, and so she is housed in a room in our shelter with only one other cat. She would do well in a home without other cats, or in a home with a mature cat who would respect her space.
Are you the perfect forever home for Daphne?

Notes: When Daphne came to us, she had kidney stones. She was scheduled for surgery to remove them, and placed on a wet food only diet while we waited for the surgery date, to avoid making the issue any worse.
Thanks to the wet food only diet, the stones had dissolved themselves by the time surgery rolled around. She had some returning issues with stones when she was placed on a diet of dry kibble mixed with wet food.
Since she has been on an entirely wet food diet, she has been healthy and happy with no kidney stone issues!

Home visits required and dog adoptions often do require structural fencing. (We make decisions regarding the fencing requirement on a dog-by-dog basis, according to the dog's exercise needs and energy level.) Stafford SPCA does not condone the exclusive use of invisible fencing. We reserve the right to deny placement of puppies and kittens into homes with children under 5 years old.
