Ramona's Story...
Are you kidding me? Look…I can’t write this bio, the keyboard is just not designed to accommodate these clumsy dog paws. Besides, I can’t pull your heart strings by telling you how sad and lonely I am…I can’t “sell” you on what an awesome dog I am…no witty, funny, or extremely well written description will do me justice. The fact is this: I’m the type of girl who is happy in most any situation as long as someone is there to love me, and I have someone to love in return. I‘m pretty happy-go-lucky, totally social with other dogs, cats, and I think I’d do great with respectful children too…I even know how to rest soundly in my crate at night. I’m a perfect little size, totally adorable…and even cuter in person. So there you have it. 8 months old-12lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes microchip & registration, spay, reduced-cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ramona, a Portland Beagle/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Chihuahua for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Chihuahua breeders who help with Beagle/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
