Hello. My name is Duke. I’m about 2 years old and I weigh about 55 lbs.
I was adopted from the pound was recently returned due to unforeseen circumstances.
The other dog in my home had become very ill and I was just too much for them. I am a totally wonderful dog, but I am a bit of an escape artist. I was apparently allowed to roam before coming in to the pound the first time. I will dig out of fences and I can even open some doors if they have the right kind handle… So needless to say, I will need a patient family that is able to supervise me to make sure I don’t get loose.
I am a phenomenal dog with people. I am calm and well mannered. I am also housebroken. The folks that had adopted me said I did wonderful with the children that I was around too.
If you’re looking for a sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me.
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER DECEMBER 7, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
