Ace's Story...
You will be the winner when you put the leash on this beautiful Yellow Lab Mix puppy and start giving him his happily ever after. Ace is a young guy at only about 6 months old, but he already knows the commands "no" and "sit." He's come a long way in her foster home and is a smart guy so he trains well. Ace weighs 37 pounds and has longer legs. His foster mom says Ace loves to swim and float on a raft in the pool. Not only is Ace super cute, but he gets along well with other dogs. Puppies are a lot of responsibility but Ace will pay off in spades. He is already working on his manners and just wants to love and be loved. Ace is used to being around people so he will do well in most homes. Ace is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. If you've got the time and can commit to continue training Ace into the well behaved adult dog that we know he will be, please submit an application at ITVRescue.org. Ace is waiting to become your forever companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ace, a Evansville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
