My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Diamond was born approx January 2015. He was rescued from the shelter as a stray. He was in ICU for a severe case of road rash, which resulted in his skin being removed on part of his leg. It is believed he was hit by a car but amazingly he has no broken bones. Even with his injury, he has a sparkle in his eyes and a cute smile while looking adorningly at you. You can stop him in his tracks by scratching his belly or head. He will just melt and not move while enjoying the attention. He has nearly healed from his injury. Best in a home with another playful dog. Applications are being accepted.

Stop by and meet our pets on SATURDAYS or if you are not able, email to arrange a convenient time to meet the pet. Adoption events are Saturday from 11 am to 3pm at R and R Pet Lifestyle and Supply at 2780 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley (SE corner of Tapo Canyon and Alamo), except holiday weekends. Please email (staff@arvsimi.org) ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions.
