  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 9087781
  • Hair: Short

Henry is a handsome red tabby who likes his independence; he's a healthy 15 pounder.  He currently has access to come and go out a kitty door whenever it pleases him.  He's got a great appetite and will even hunt for a little bit of his dinner. When in the house he will use his litter box.  He greatly enjoys having his head and cheeks scratched and rubbed and will let you know when he would like to have that done.  While he lives with several other cats he pretty much ignores them and does his own thing.  He is okay with dogs that don't bother him, like cats, he just avoids and ignores them.  His caregiver is having to move where he can't go and she wants to make sure he gets a good home, she took him in 4 years ago when his previous owner moved. He is 6 years old.

About Second Chance Companions

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded in 1993, Second Chance Companions is a 501(c) 3 non-profit pet organization dedicated to helping animals in SW Washington and the Portland Metro area.

We are a humane, no-kill organization staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers.

Although we do not run an independent shelter, we feed, care for, adopt out, and spay & neuter as many animals as possible. In addition, we educate the community and are always seeking volunteers and resources that help us to accomplish our mission.

We have a small number of foster homes available, but also work with private owners who keep their pets while looking for homes for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have cats available for adoption all the time at the Vancouver Plaza and Gresham Petsmarts.

We also have adoption events most every weekend and often during the week too. See all of our currently scheduled events at: http://www.sccpets.com/pages/events.html
