Charlie's Story...
Charlie was picked up stray and has not yet been reclaimed by his owner. If he is not reclaimed he will be available for adoption. Charlie is about 2 years old. He is initially very shy and overwhelmed but given a little time he begins to come out of his shell. He is not at all aggressive and actually appears to like the company of kids over adults, but he is fine with everyone- just afraid. Charlie will need some work to learn to walk on a leash as he doesn't seem familiar with a leash at all. That should be fairly easy to work with. If you are looking for a more quiet and mild mannered dog, stop in and meet this sweet boy today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Troy Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Troy, or seeking a Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
