Summer's Story...
Summer is a beautiful Chocolate Long Hair Siamese. Age is unknown but we guess she is around 7yrs old. She was left outside when her owners moved out of their home during the hottest part of July. Temps here in Phoenix were 105 to 117. Summer went from house to house to find food, water, shelter and help. She was so depressed and thin when we got her. Her coat was in bad shape. She slept solid for 2 days, only getting up long enough to eat, drink and use the litterbox. Today she is so loving with head bumps and a little paw placed on your arm. She loves to be brushed and fused over. She'll lay in your lap for as long as you want. She has a lovely little soft melodic meow. She is quiet, no litterbox problems at all. It will take her a few days to get used to other cats. We don't know if she lived with dogs or if she likes dogs. She is ready to find her forever home. She is spayed, negative for FeLV/FIV, up to date on shots. AJs Best Friends is a private rescue. We do not adopt at a pet store, and we don't have a facility. To meet our cats, you must fill-out and submit an application. Upon approval you will be contacted to pick a day and time to meet the cat. To get started, the Application/Questionnaire is at: We look forward to helping you find your next furry lifetime loving furr-end

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Summer, a Gilbert Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
