Pixie's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

I'm Pixie! I'm a teeny, teacup terrier/schnauzer mix! I'm a beautiful girl that's going to be about 5-7 pounds maximum. I'm about 9 weeks old right now. 01.08.13. Very loving and playful for a small tiny girl. Please won't you give me a home? MASH rescued me and my three siblings. I was being held in a parking lot by a lady/man who were trying to get $25.00 for me to anyone! I was freezing cold, because it was 35 degrees, but now I'm in my warm Nana's house for fostering! I want my own family to love for years and years! please call 901-317-9502 or go to the website www.mash38053.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie, a Millington Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Standard Schnauzer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Standard Schnauzer for sale in Millington, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Standard Schnauzer puppy from a breeder in Millington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Millington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Millington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Standard Schnauzer breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Standard Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Millington paves the way for another one to be saved.
