Fiona's Story...
Fiona is a sweet, talkative girl looking for a loving forever home. Fiona loves to rub up against your legs and give you head boops. She's a purr machine who just wants someone to love. Fiona would rather not live with another feline but a mellow, cat-savvy dog that won't chase her would be alright. Any children should be over 6 and be gentle and respectful of her. Like any proper Princess, Fiona wants to be petted gently and doesn't appreciate really rough petting. Fiona would love a tall cat tree where she can hang out up high and watch the world go by, this will also provide her with an appropriate place to stretch and scratch. At night, you will probably find Fiona curled up in bed with you to snooze. Fiona has long, lovely fur that will need regular brushing for her to stay clean and matt-free. If you think this beautiful sweetheart would be a good fit for you, please bring an adoption application to the front desk so you can meet her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiona, a Bellingham Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
