My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shepp was found wandering a busy highway in late December 2014. A kind hearted lady was afraid he'd be killed by passing cars so rescued him. She took him to her vets office, where he has been boarded ever since. GSRCA is listing Shepp as a courtesy. He has been evaluated by a GSRCA volunteer.

This is a young sable male weighing 78 pounds. His age is estimated at 2-3 years of age. He is kenneled at the vets office and does not have accidents in his run. He has seen dogs (big and small) and cats. He ignores the cats and small dogs. Depending on the demeanor of larger dogs he may react. But there is nothing uncontrollable about him. His best friend at the vets is a 120 pound white GSD! They bonded instantly!

Shepp is trained to walk on leash. He's very friendly to all people. Being a young dog that has been kenneled, he has quite a bit of pent up energy to expend when first let out. He has been neutered, is heartworm negative and microchipped.
