Zander's Story...
Just look at the smile on Zander's face! Zander is a happy fella who is looking for a forever home to keep him smilling. He is 2 years old and a strikenly handsome guy. Not only is Zander handsome, he is also smart! He is house trained when kept on a schedule and walks well on a leash. He keeps his kennel clean. Zander is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. This debonair guy is a large guy so he will make a great addition to an active household who can give him regular exercise. Zander likes to play with toys, but his favorite is one that squeaks! He does well on a leash. Zander can be shy when encountering new people and will bark sometimes on walks, but he is a smart guy so he is able to learn that people mean him no harm. Zander is ready to show you how great he is and that he can't wait to be your next best friend. Just go to ITVRescue.org and complete an adoption application. His great personality is catching everyone's attention, so don't wait long. Zander is waiting for you!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zander, a Evansville Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
