Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Almond Joy is an 18 month old jewel of a Yellow Lab. This girl might have a little Shepherd mixed in with her background because of her ears. Almond Joy has the sweetest temperament with children, cats, adults and other dogs. She is full of energy and definitely needs the chance to run and have fun everyday in a secured backyard. This 54 pound girl lost her home because her family fell on hard times and were evicted from their home and had to live in a motel. She was taken to a very sad and desolate kill shelter in rural TN and just a day away from being euthanized because of their closing for the Labor Day holiday. Long weekend holidays are lethal for these shelter dogs when the workers are looking to lighten their load and what they have to feed during the holiday. Almond is a treasure indeed. She is smart, happy, well adjusted, especially for a girl who has gone from place to place recently. Someone in this universe will be the lucky recipient of a loving and wonderful girl named ALMOND JOY! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
