Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barron is one of 5 dogs rescued from surviving in a chicken coop in the country. Not all of the dogs made it to safety before being rescued unfortunately. They have had limited socialization but now the 5 are in a foster home learning people do care about them.
Barron is about 9 months old, has two vaccines, wormed and on heartworm prevention. He is neutered and will still get a microchip. Barron is more social and the only male in the group. He's doing pretty good on leash now and gaining more confidence daily.
His adoption fee is $120.
If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to fill out our adoption questionnaire at http://members.petfinder.com/~MS72/adoption_app.html
Save 1 Pet is a 501 (c) 3 approved charity committed to helping homeless animals. We don't have a facility (shelter) but work out of our homes to foster the animals until they find a forever home.
Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention.
For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verifications.
