My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.

NAME: Gizmo
GENDER: Male (Neutered)
AGE: About 3 years
WEIGHT: About 10 Pounds
COAT: Long Hair Chihuahua
DOGS/CATS: Great with other small dogs, Ignores on cats
CHILDREN: Would be find with older, calmer children
APARTMENT APPROPRIATE: Yes
HOUSEBROKEN: Housebroken

Meet handsome Gizmo. Gizmo has found himself looking for a new home after his elderly owner could no longer care for her dogs. We are happy to bring him into our CRT program and help him find his forever family.

Gizmo is the sweetest guy. Gizmo does really well with the other small dogs in his foster home. There are cats in his foster home and he is fine with them (he could care less about them!). Gizmo loves to play with his toys and will show off for you as he plays! Gizmo is a medium energy dog so doesn't require a lot of space. He really just
wants to be your lap dog. He is an easy going and fun little guy.

Gizmo is very smart. He is housebroken, crate trained, and is very well adjusted. He seems to have never known a day without love and is always ready to share his love for you. And he wants to share it for the rest of his life, all day long!!

Gizmo is not a big barker so he would be fine for anyone that lives in a small place. He is leash trained and does enjoy walks, providing its not bad weather. And even though he is a long haired dog, Gizmo doesn't require much grooming either. He does have some skin allergies but nothing that a little benadryl won't fix when needed.

Gizmo likes people. But Gizmo is not good with all kids. Calm, mature little people suit him best. He would be best in an all adult home, or a home with older, calmer children. Gizmo is about 3 years old and has many happy years ahead of him. We are so excited about introducing him to the world and helping him find a lifetime of happiness.

Gizmo is waiting for you to rescue him. He really wants to be home in time for the holidays. Perhaps that could be with you?

Gizmo is neutered, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative. and on heartworm prevention. He is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?

This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $200 adoption fee required. .
