This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.

Meet Lucy Lou, a beautiful 4.5 pound darling. Lucy Lou is a special little girl, and CRT is looking for a special forever home for her.
Lucy Lou is a tiny 4 1/2 pound, beautiful white dog. As you can see in her pictures, Lucy Lou is a tripod. No worries though. She gets around very well. And to make it less stressful on her little legs, CRT held a fundraiser and had a custom cart made for Lucy Lou (not shown in these pictures). This little girl is happy, healthy, and ready to roll in to your life!
Lucy Lou absolutely loves her family. She follows her foster Mommy and Daddy around the house and wants to be where ever they are. If you are in your home office, she is there hanging around with you. If you are cooking, she is your kitchen helper. And once you are ready to sit down and watch TV, she is wanting to get in your lap and snuggle. If you want a companion dog, Lucy Lou is your girl. And if you are a "work from you home office"; family - JACKPOT for everyone. LOL.
One of Lucy Lou's favorite things is popcorn! She loves family movie night! When it is time for a movie, she will curl up on your lap and give you the "can we share the popcorn" look! She also loves to be scratched on her back right above her tail, she is so cute! Lucy Lou loves her dog beds and she makes sure no one else gets up on her dog beds when she is on them! She wants to get the full enjoyment from them when she is snuggling!
Lucy Lou gets along fine with the other small dogs in her foster home. She is social to them, but tends to enjoy being by herelf. Lucy Lou is not one to play or sleep with the others. She sets her boundaries when she first meets other dogs and then she is fine around them. In her foster home, there are about 5 other small dogs and they are great together. Lucy Lou mostly craves human attention. Because of this, we believe she would be really happy as an only dog so that she did not have to share your love. But she is willing to share with others if you have a built in doggie family!
Lucy Lou loves to go for car rides. She is also leash trained. Lucy Lou is potty trained on both pee pee pads and will also go potty outside. She is crate trained and sleeps in a dog bed in her crate at night. Lucy Lou is 10 years old, and has many happy years ahead of her (remember that Chihuahuas can live to be 15 - 18 years old). Due to her tiny size and her special needs, we recommend an adult only home, or a home with older mature children (13 and older).
