Andy is a male Havanese mix only 1 year old. He is a beautiful soft white in color with light gray highlights on his ears. Andy's coat is non-shedding. He has been professionally groomed and currently has a short summer cut. His coat will grow out long and curly if allowed. Andy is a compact, sturdy small dog, weighing 12 pounds full grown. He is extremely smart, quick, athletic, and delightfully playful. He adores play with other dogs, racing around the backyard or joyfully being the center of attention at the dog park. He is thrilled to play with people and toys and is excellent with children. Andy is an alert, responsive, fast learner and will be easily trained. He is good in the house and will content himself with a rubber ball (his favorite) if nothing is going on. He loves to be with people and will thrive in a home that includes him in daily family life. Since he is very social, he has no problem with tons of attention, lots of people, company and the like, and is almost always the life of the party. He rides well in the car and enjoys going places. Andy has a zest for life that is readily obvious. He will make a fabulous pet for a family with another young playful dog or as a fun companion for the kids. He likes to be active and can keep up on long walks or even hikes. Andy was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is super healthy and ready for his new loving forever home today! You can't go wrong with this entertaining, smart little guy.
Andy’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Andy is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for his forever home.
