Star's Story...
My name is Star.  I was born May 12 .  My mom had me outside and I was so scared.  I was caught in a trap with my sister.  A kind lady took us in and helped me get use to humans loving me.  I love to be held and rub my foster mom's face.  I love to play with the cats in my foster mom's house.  We run all around and chase each other. I do not like loud noises but soft sounds can put me to sleep. If you feel you could love me then fill out the application and I could be yours.

If you'd like to meet me, please email to setup a visit. Don't forget to tell them you want to meet Star!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Star, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
