My name is Chance!

I am a very sweet, loving dog who has so much love to give. I have incredible green eyes and a muscular physique! I am 82 lbs and about 3 years old. I love to run and play. A fenced yard of my very own would be a dream come true! I really love my sister Blanca, so I'd like to be adopted with her. However, a home by myself would be great too! I just really want a family to love!

Chance's adoption fee is $200. Please visit www.RuralAnimalRescueEffort.org for foster and adoption applications.

~Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heart-worm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals in our care, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.~

**An application and home visit are required. Transport can be arranged to approved homes, within or out of state, at no additional cost.

All of our pets are, or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.

About Rural Animal Rescue Effort (RARE)

About Our Rescue Group...

Rural Animal Rescue Effort (RARE) is an organization that is dedicated to saving animals in rural areas, mainly in 'pounds' and shelters, both high-kill and no-kill. There tends to be a higher overpopulation rate in rural areas due to lack of animal ordinances and alteration to prevent unwanted litters. Many animals are 'dumped' on country roads left to parish or end up at the local pound or animal shelter if they have an empty kennel. Many of these animals have a limited number of days before they are euthanized. In addition to placing animals in foster and adoptive homes, networking with rescues to assist in placement and adoption of animals, RARE also performs fundraisers for spay/neuters and other vetting to prevent further overpopulation and promote quality of life for the animals we save.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fees cover all vetting for the animals in our care, including vaccinations, Heart-worm test, Heart-worm treatment if needed, Feline Leukemia test, spay/neuter and may vary, depending on species.

Fosters and Adopters will be required to complete an application with personal and Veterinary references. A home visit is also required.
RESCUES, please contact us regarding pull information or pull fee, if any, depending on vetting already provided by RARE.
