My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a white mosaic male chinchilla that is looking for his new home. He came to NWI not long ago, and we are told he was born 5/14/2015. This makes him right around 3 months old, and now is the perfect time for him to go to his new home and bond with his new family.
This male is white and grey in color, his color is called “mosaic.” He is mostly white, with a grey face split by a large white blaze up his face. He also has a grey at the base of his tail. This boy is relatively easy to pick up and does well with being handled and petted. He doesn’t bite. He loves to explore, and would most likely love playtime, including using your body as a jungle jim, when he is old enough. He’s more of an outgoing personality, in that he will come to the front of the cage to see what’s going on, and will watch what’s going on around him
This chinchilla is currently living alone, and we do not know if he gets along with other chinchillas. If this is a concern for you, please let us know.
This chinchilla would make a good “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had chinchillas before.
This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (2 pounds of Tradition pellets), a goodie bags of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. He will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet, fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire, and provide proof of cage. If you are unwilling to do these things, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.

This mosaic male is $175. If you’d like to get a pair of chinchillas around the same age, we also do have other male chinchillas that could potentially be paired with this one. Discounts of $25 will apply to a pair or $50 to a trio of chinchillas that go home together.
