Pepe's Story...
This handsome boy is Pepe. He was born to a momma dog that we have still not been able to catch. This is the second litter of puppies from her that we have taken into our rescue. We have now set up all kinds of traps and hoping we finally catch her and give her the help she needs. The momma looks to be either a full bred Australian Shepherd or a mix. Whatever she is- she has beautiful puppies. Pepe has a beautiful medium length coat and very shiny. He is estimated to be about 7 weeks old as of 9-6-15 and weighs about 7 pounds. He will be completely vetted before going to his forever home- including neuter, all vaccines except rabies unless he is 4 months old upon adoption, wormed several times- started on heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention and also treated for other parasites common in the South. Pepe and his siblings are located in ARKANSAS but I have transport that brings up my ADOPTED doggies to the Northeast once they are adopted. When we list our rescues on they send out the info to all areas that our transport delivers to- that is why Pepe showed up as being in your area. For more info on Pepe - please email Sandy at and thank you so much for considering adoption

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepe, a Buffalo Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
