  • Age: Adult

Fiona was found as a stray with her daughter in 2014 (her daughter was just adopted last year).
Fiona is a REAL SWEETHEART! She loves attention, walks good on a leash & tries to let you know when it is potty time. She went out on a large dog event & did very well; she loves people. She loves to give kisses & snuggle up to you. Fiona gets along with other large dogs, and does best with children over the age of 10. A fenced in yard would also be nice for her. Pretty Fiona doesn't understand why no one wants to take her home. She's laid back, beautiful, great personality & just wants to be loved. She just keeps hoping someone will notice how pretty she is, love her & take her home forever! No cats please.
Fiona has some food allergies & has to be on a special diet.

PLEASE NOTE: We require all interested parties to come to the shelter to meet the pet, complete an adoption application, and interview with our Director. We do not do same day adoptions or ship animals. For additional information on our adoption policies, visiting hours and directions please go to Abandoned Pet Rescue.

About Abandoned Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Shelter...

Abandoned Pet Rescue is a 501 ( c ) (3) IRS tax-exempt, qualified charitable organization that rescues, shelters, and cares for countless abandoned and abused animals and finds them new homes. We have been serving the South Florida community since 1996. Our no-kill animal shelter is located in Ft. Lauderdale, where volunteers of all ages help perform the duties of running the shelter and our operations on a day-to-day basis, creating a mutually beneficial relationship between animals and the community. By conducting neighborhood sweeps, APR helps reduce the pet over population by spaying and neutering feral cats with the use of a mobile veterinary facility.
