Dorothy's Story...
How-do, everyone? Adorable Dorothy with the equally-as-adorable tail here! I recently arrived after the family where my mom and my littermates were living underwent an emergency crisis. We were all in danger of being sent to the kill shelter until a couple of rescues stepped us to get us. My mom and siblings went elsewhere. I landed here.

Even though I’ve been through a lot in my one year of life, you’d never know it. I’m very happy-go-lucky, easy-going and very sweet. I was a little wild at first because I had never lived anywhere else, but now I love to be picked up and loved on and know how to just chill.

I’m only about a year old, am heartworm negative, get along fine with other dogs and am ready to roll. They were even told I’m housebroken! You’d better grab me while you can!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dorothy, a Conyers Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Conyers, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Conyers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conyers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conyers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conyers paves the way for another one to be saved.
