Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ginny has been with us a short time. She is from a shelter in Kentucky. Ginny was surrendered to the shelter by a homeless man. Although Ginny was loved, he knew he was doing her an injustice by not providing a permanent home for her.
Ginny is very pretty and dainty. She is 2 years old and weighs about 35 pounds. She is a beautiful red/gold coloring with big eyes like a Greyhound that tug at your heart strings.
Ginny was timid at first but is settling in. She loves people. She is fine with dogs but is more focused on the people. She is house broken with a dog door and a fenced yard. Ginny follows you everywhere and puts her head in your lap. She hasn't barked yet but sometimes that takes some time. She inhales her food so I am trying to slow her down with a number of strategies. She is not aggressive with it but eats it like she is afraid she won't have enough.
The cat interests her but so far she is just curious. She looks like if the he ran she would like to chase it. She knows sit with food and is appears to learn quickly. If I gently say no about something she responds. She seems to have medium energy.
I have a busy household but no young kids. I think she would be fine and would love to cuddle but don't see her as a rough and tumble player. ( She may prove me wrong as she adjusts) She rode in the car fine and I haven't walked her on a leash yet.
