Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lug Nut! This boy is Handsome with a capital "H" and has a personality to match those good looks. Lug Nut was brought in by animal control when he attempted to take a jog down the street with an unsuspecting civilian. This guy quickly won the heart of the staff members and was picked up by a foster volunteer to keep at home until he found his forever family. Lug Nut loves to chew on toys, sleep, and generally be near people. His favorite place to lounge is typically a bed or couch, where he will happily stretch out on his back and snore like an old man! Lug Nut has quickly caught on to his house manners and is now pretty much house-, kennel-, and leash-trained. He will also sit if you promise him a pet or two! One thing he cannot manage to master is being graceful whilst jumping up on things. When he tries and jump on the bed he can never seem to get his back half to follow and ends up awkwardly crawling to his destination. This charmer is sure to win you over with his goofy antics!
At around 2 year old, Lug Nut weighs in just over 50lbs and should not get bigger. This guy absolutely loves being around his people, so a family that spends time at home with lots of pets and affection to give would be ideal! Lug Nut does well with other dogs, but is just as happy chewing on a bone by himself, so whether you are looking for an only child or a playmate for another pup, this is your guy! All he really needs is a family to finally call his own. Won't you be that family?
Dogs in our program are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
Lug Nut is currently in foster care so, if interested, please email us today!
