My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We saw Duncan stuck in a high kill shelter and even though he was smelly and dirty with hair loss, we just could not leave him there as he was so very sweet. The shelter workers were thrilled as he was a shelter staff favorite and had been there for quite some time.

Week after week people just walked by him without stopping. His Foster Mom tells us he is just a dear, sweet, big goof ball who appears to not have a mean bone in his body. He is a Lhasa-Maltese mix, weighing about 14 lbs and between 5-6 years old.

Apparently he rarely if ever barks, so he would also be good for apartment living. With good food and supplements, he now has a full body of hair! He gets on fine with other dogs and everyone that he has met. At first he was fascinated by the cat were he lives but after a couple of days he completely lost interest.

If you are interested in Duncan, please complete the on-line application as he does not always attend the weekly adoption event on Saturdays or Sundays at PETCO. You can also contact us for more information at: www.adoptmerescue@gmail.org.
