My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sawyer would have a story to tell if he could talk. He was spotted by a neighbor over 3 weeks ago, coming to eat in her yard, limping. It took her a while, but she was able to get him and then gave us a call. Thank you to the coordinated efforts between us and Carteret Rescue League, we were able to raise the funds to have this poor guy examined and X-rayed. We thought his leg was broken, but it was a bad sprain, and abscess on the left paw and his right paw needed stitches for a bad gash. Now Sawyer is all fixed up.. He was neutered, given all of his vaccines, and tested neg for felv/fiv! He was sent home on antibiotics and soon, he should be as good as new.. Together we changed the life of this one boy for the better yesterday.. Now all he needs is a wonderful forever home, where there is never the chance that he can go out and get beat up like this again.. By the way, he is one of the most friendly cats you would want to meet
