My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mojo is a great dog that loves to go on walks and will perk up just at the word, but also loves to sit by you and accept your love. It is a good thing she loves those walks, because she currently weighs in at 89lbs. However with a good diet and exercise she will be on her way back to a healthy weight, since coming to the rescue she has already lost 7.5 lbs. She is very friendly and very quiet most of the time. She is not effected by thunderstorms like some dogs and doesn't bark when she sees other dogs. However, she does want to meet them and will pull you a little to get to them. She also loves to run after street cats even on a leash but after she realizes she can't catch them, she gives up and moves on. She is a sweetheart that gets along with older kids (no toddlers) and lets them approach her and pet her. She is a little shy at the dog park right now and still getting used to being around other dogs. She lets dogs approach her, but doesn't play with them and stays close to her foster dad. Initially, Mojo would whine for long periods of time when left alone in the house, but that behavior has been getting better. She doesn't like being left in a crate, but she is also very well behaved in the house when left alone for 8 hours at a time. Mojo hasn't shown interest in any toys yet. To say that Mojo likes swimming is an understatement. At one point she was in the pool swimming laps for over 30 minutes and still didn't want to leave. So if you own a pool, that would be a wonderful benefit for Mojo!! She is a sweetheart that will make a perfect addition to your family
