Harvey's Story...
Harvey is just a sweet big baby boy, at 6 moths old he is all ready 8 pounds he is going to be a big kitty. He was rescued twice, once off the streets than second time from a family that was not treating him well. Now he is such a happy boy in his foster home, he has other cats friends and even a 120 pound dog friend that Harvey loves!
Harvey loves attention and is super laid back, until play time than watch out he is the first to play chase around the house. His favorite activity next to chase is napping, or even chasing a ball is up there. Harvey would do great in most any household just not young kids, he would be to scared of them. If you would like to meet Harvey hat fill out an application his adoption fee is 120.00 that includes all age-appropriate shops and his neuter. Go to www.Illinoisanimalrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harvey, a Palatine Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
