My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi There-My name is Dory. I am a 3 year old schnauzer mix girl. I tip the scale at 12 pounds.

Thank you for stopping by to read my story…I was found as a stray around Downey, CA. My Mom spotted me and brought me to to her home- where I have been told I can stay till I find a home of my very own.

My Mom says I am one awesome little girl. I am a very friendly, affectionate and playful, quite little girl that does not fuss much. My Mom works from home and does not want us to be barking or making noises when she is on the phone. The only time you will hear me whimper is when I let you know that I need to go out to do my business. I walk on the leash like a champ. I tolerate other doggies in my foster home, but my Mom thinks I would do well as the only doggy in the house.

My Mom says I one SWEET doll of a girl. Here is what I overheard my Mom telling one her friends about me "She is so playful and does not like it when we close the door to use the restroom...she pounds on it and wants it! This girl sure does not like being left out :)". I do sometimes growl while at play. But that is just my way of playing In the evenings we all hang out and watch TV together. Night time finds me sleeping quietly in my crate or snuggling with you in your bed. You won’t hear a peep out of me all night long. In the morning the only sound you will hear is my tail thumping against the side of the crate.

My Mom got me a bed of my very own and I carry that bed around wherever I want it; which my Mom thinks-is hilarious. I definitely own the bed!! You can see me with my my bed in the video. Promise, you will get a good laugh.

This is my story and I hope you will come see me and take me home. I am a schnauzer and do not shed. I am what they call a hypoallergenic dog. If you want a turn key dog, one that needs very little adjustment time; one that will fit into any household-then I am your gal.

I am spayed, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on all my shots. I am all set and ready to go to my furever home. My adoption fee is only $350 and I guarantee you I am worth every penny of it. I promise to be your constant, loyal companion for years to come. What more can you ask for???

Dory is being fostered in Huntington Beach, CA. Please contact nimmi.smith@yahoo.com for more information on Dory.
