Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Homer. One of our foster volunteers up near Lebanon pulled him from a shelter up north in Indiana and they will be fostering him and working through Beagle Buddies to find a great home for him.
His owner passed away and the people that took him in decided they no longer wanted to care for him and dumped him. They weren't smart enough to remove his collar so, animal control was able track his story. He was not doing well at the kennel, under weight and covered with fleas.
He is a very sweet and smart dog. He's great in the car, knows his name and can climb gates to be with you : ) We're guessing beagle/jack Russell mix approximately 6-8 years old, maybe 20lbs. He is neutered, up to date on basic shots (we will get rabies and heart worm test). He does not do well with other dogs and would be best as the only dog.
Please submit an online application form at http://www.beaglebuddies.org/AdoptionApplication.html. Submit the application form and if it looks like it could be a good fit, we will schedule a time to meet the pet. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Beagle Buddies adoption fee is $200 for beagles older than 6 months and $225 for beagles 6 months or younger. Our senior beagles older than 6 years are $150. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, are up to date on vaccinations, and a copy of vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag until you can use till you get one, and leash. All beagles are micro-chipped as well.
