Initial Bio 9/7/2015
Meet UYR’s newest foster boy Beau Beau! Beau Beau is 10 years old and weighs 20 pounds (YES....I SAID 20!) of pure, adorable Yorkie Love! He is being fostered in Canon GA.
Beau Beau has had a rough summer, but things are starting to really look up for him. His forever person, who has had him since he was a not so tiny puppy passed away in June. That made Beau Beau very sad.....because she was Beau Beau’s world and he was hers. Lucky for him, his human’s daughter took Beau Beau into her home and has had him until today. She was very nice, but she already had two bigger dogs and teenaged children too. And both she and her husband had long, busy work days and lots of activities with their children which meant that Beau Beau didn’t get a lot of attention. For this reason, they reached out to United Yorkie Rescue for help in finding Beau Beau his PERFECT FOREVER home where he will get all the love and attention he deserves.
Beau Beau is a VERY BIG Yorkie! He is also quite TALL for a Yorkie. But he is not overweight at all and seems to be a very healthy, happy boy. He is not aggressive at all. He was being somewhat bullied in his former home which was another reason his owners thought he would be happier in a new situation. He just loves to cuddle, give kisses and play. Beau Beau gets along with everyone.....dogs, cats, adults, children....he loves them all.
Please do not let Beau Beau’s age or size scare you away. He is quite healthy and acts like a much younger dog. Yorkies can live to be 18-20 years old and this guy has a lot of life left in him. And being on the large side this means that he is not prone to injury like very tiny Yorkies are. His larger size would also make him a great family dog.
Beau Beau has PERFECT manners, he doesn’t jump or bark. He is also PERFECT in the house training arena and always waits for his person to take him out to go potty.
We are just getting to know Beau Beau and will have more updates on him soon. He will be having a well puppy check and a micro-chip inserted soon and we think that he will soon be ready for adoption. If you think yours would be a PAWSOME home for Beau Beau then go ahead and apply to adopt him.
