Juno's Info...

Juno's Story...
Juno" is an adorable 4-year old male Husky who made his debut at the HSOV on September 9, 2015 after a Good Samaritan found him in the Marietta, Ohio and gave him a ride to the safety of our shelter. Apparently "Juno" hopped right into her car without hesitation as if to say "thank goodness you saved me" :) This handsome guy has a cream-colored short smooth smooth coat with a dense texture, a long fluffy tail, and a classic Husky face with crystal blue eyes and large erect ears. "Juno" is an extremely friendly fellow with a gentle disposition. He needed a little friendly persuasion to walk on a leash when we took him outdoors for this photo session, and he was fine until it was time to come back indoors .. then he requested 'carry-in' service which one of our kennel techs provided :) "Juno" currently weighs 48 lbs. He will be available for adoption on September 12, 2015 if he is not reclaimed before that date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juno, a Marietta Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
