Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you are looking for a lovely, quiet, mellow, dignified older lady, then I'm your girl! I've got some cataracts, but I'm not blind. I'm reliably potty-trained, and enjoy cuddles. But when it's not lap time, I'm just fine with hanging out in my crate. In fact, I usually go there on my own when I come back in from outside. I get on well with the other dogs at my foster's house and was a VERY good girl at the vet. I enjoy the quiet life; that IACC shelter was noisy and scary. I get a little grumpy when I'm frightened, but quiet calms me right down. My foster mom says I've got incredibly soft fur and that I'm the ideal low-maintenance dog!
Chihuahua Rescue says: Poppy was found as a stray. She has now been spayed and had a badly-needed dental cleaning. She's a bit overweight at 5.8 lbs, but a measured amount of good quality food and gentle exercise will take care of that. Her eyesight is a bit impaired, but she can see. Her adoption fee is $250.
