PEDRO's Story...
PEDRO: Chihuahua Mix / Neutered Male / 2 Years / 11 Pounds
HOUSE TRAINED, LOVES LIFE, OBEDIENT, LOVING!

Pedro is the ideal pet as he loves being with his master. Now in his foster home he enjoys all people and pets. He loves to play in the grass and take sun baths and have belly rubs! He does well on leash and during car rides. Pedro may be a little slower than your average Chihuahua because unfortunately he was rescued after a bus struck him and his leg had to be removed. But that does not stop him from being the best pet and fantastic companion! Pedro really needs a forever home! Come visit with hm. He is hoping you will. In the canine heart there is always hope. Every dog deserves a safe and loving home. Adopt a rescue dog today; we are their voice!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PEDRO, a Poway Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Poway, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Poway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Poway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Poway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Poway paves the way for another one to be saved.
