Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ocoa is a sweet little guy who won't ask for much in the way of space as he is only 19 pounds. He had a home and was probably adored when he was a cute little puppy. But Cocoa has put some years on him and his owner decided they didn't want a 9 year old dog. At 9, Cocoa has many more years to live and love. Cocoa looks like he could use some good quality food and a little TLC to get back to his former glory. We hope that there is an angel out there that sees what a sweet, deserving little guy Cocoa is and gives him a chance. He is up to date with shots and is reported to be good with kids. He came to the shelter on September 9th and is currently available for adoption. Due to Cocoa's age you will have to have him neutered at your vet; the shelter doesn't have the resources necessary to spay/neuter senior pets. He will be micro-chipped and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come see Cocoa in Run 325; his ID is 577687. You won't be able to pass up that sweet face that you can help make happy again!
