Cole's Story...
Cole is a 2 year old sweetheart that was rescued form being Euthanized. He was found on the streets in Cumberland County NJ with a stick impaled his neck.. He was picked up by Animal Control and taken to the Cumberland County Shelter and was never claimed by his owner.
After the 7 day hold he was set to be euthanized and we pulled him from the shelter hours before his life was to end. Cole is a super high energy yet very sweet and very obedient dog, due to his energy level he would do best with someone that has experience with dogs and has the leadership qualities needed to help this boy stay balanced. He will do great with younger children if you know how to handle his energy. CALL 732-240-4181 - Lost Dog Search & Rescue

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cole, a Toms River Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Toms River, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Toms River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toms River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toms River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toms River paves the way for another one to be saved.
