Brandon's Story...
My name is Brandon and I am available for adoption from Southwest Animal Rescue Fund. I am between 1 and 2 years old and one of the sweetest, most affectionate little guys you'll ever meet. I was rescued from the Roswell Animal Shelter just hours before I was going to be put down. I am full grown but need to gain about 2 pounds--I weigh less than 10 pounds and am too skinny. I have been told I am an Italian Greyhound Chihuahua mix but I can't confirm that. What I can promise is that if you give me a forever home I will make you smile every day! I have been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and I tested negative for heartworms and tick-borne diseases. For adoption info contact swanimalrescuefund@gmail.com. Our adoption process includes an application, a home check, a contract and a $100 adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandon, a Corrales Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua for sale in Corrales, or seeking a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Corrales.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corrales already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corrales breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua breeders who help with Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corrales paves the way for another one to be saved.
