My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SUNNY's name fits her happy little personality perfectly! This gorgeous girl is everything a lab lover could ever want and more. As of 9/12/15 she is 10 weeks old. She lives in a foster home with 3 small children and 2 other dogs and gets along great with everyone. We know SUNNY's forever family will be over the moon for her!

Here are a few insights from SUNNY's foster mom who is just CRAZY about her:
-loves to play especially with other dogs (gets along great with older dachshund and little kids!)
-does awesome in crate at night. Never cries and goes right in. She even goes in to nap a lot as well! She doesn't potty in crate.
-doesn't jump onto furniture
-working on "sit"
-can be redirected with puppy nip play if you distract with toys.
-LOVES playing outside in the backyard! She would enjoy a fenced in yard for sure.
-doesn't chew on anything but toys (except she does love the occasional shoe! )
-doing well with house training on a schedule and with careful watching for signs of needing to potty
-doesn't bark except for when playing with other dogs
-loves EVERYONE

SUNNY is microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $300 adoption fee includes transport to Nashville.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
