Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SLIPPER is a super happy, friendly, and precious girl! She is a scruffy pup lover's dream; she looks like a 48 lb Benji. SLIPPER is just under a year and a half old and 48 lbs. She is great with other dogs, good on the leash, and thoroughly enjoys car rides. She lives in a foster home with other dogs and also frequently visits other doggy friends at the dog park.
Here is a quick note from her foster mom:
She is super sweet and a shadow dog...she has to be wherever I am. She is awesome on a leash and plays well with Jester [Jester is the foster mom's 100+ lb Akita mix]. They don't get rough, just tumble around and chase each other. She is a very happy girl and gives a tail wag whenever she looks at Jester or me. It's really cute. She is quiet and rarely barks. She loves getting brushed. She rolls over so you can rub her tummy and can catch treats if you throw them to her. I'm working with her on jumping up. She just gets really excited when someone comes in or I get home and can't help herself. She is getting better and I can tell she knows she is not supposed to do it. She's a good girl and her face is soooo stinking cute.
SLIPPER is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and cost of transport to the Midwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
