My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey is a playful and very friendly young girl looking for a forever home. Poor Honey was found by a good samaritan at a gas station. Other customers were buying her food and getting her water. The store clerk did not seem to mind her hanging around but said no one had been by looking for her. Quite likely she had just been abandoned there. So the good samaritan scooped Honey up and took her to the vet where she was scanned for a microchip (there was none) then brought up to date on her vaccinations. The good samaritan could not adopt Honey herself as she already had other dogs at home so she reached out to rescue groups to help. Honey came to Cedar Farm in August and had her spay surgery. She recovered nicely and has made some fabulous dog friends here at the farm. She loves to romp and run with the other dogs and plays with that rambunctious puppy spirit. She would love to find a home with another dog to play with. Honey absolutely loves stuffed toys and has the best time tossing them up in the air and making them squeak. It is so much fun to watch. Honey will be a great hiking companion. She is eager to explore and learn new things. Honey never meets a stranger and loves making new human and dog friends. She has been ok with our cats too. We have not seen her with children but we believe that she will do very well with them. Honey is crate-trained and housebroken. She is mindful and careful in the house and does not bark much. Honey is almost a year old and weighs 33 lbs. She has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. If you would like to meet Honey please go to our website www.cedarfarmrescue.com and complete our adoption application. After you have submitted the form please call Tony at 336.251.8877 to set up a time to visit with Honey at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville. We are there by appointment only. 86331.
