Lexi didn't have the best year. It seems her adoptive family enjoyed the idea of her when she was a puppy and through the summer, but when it was back to school for the kids, they decided they didn't want Lexi anymore. Now she needs a Home for Keeps! Lexi is a very intelligent and friendly 10-month old girl who was raised in a family with young children and another dog. She is so appreciative of affection and attention, with a tail wag and smile for everyone she sees! She sits on command, is eager to learn and will thrive in a home where she'll get the proper exercise she needs and the love she deserves. Lexi blends perfectly with dogs of all ages and sizes so we know she'll welcome a canine sibling -- in fact, she is best placed in a home with another dog because she loves canine companionship. She still sometimes jumps up to say hello, and her leash walking isn't perfect, but she's a smart girl and will blossom in a home that takes the time to work with her just a little bit. Lexi is about 10 months old, she weighs about 60 pounds and she is very healthy.
