Facts about Gabby

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Calico Or Dilute Calico
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 9802
  • Hair: Short
Gabby is a beautiful calico. She is not aggressive at all and gets along with all of the cats and dogs in our household. When you talk to her, she will answer back with a sweet ‘meow’. She can be found watching the butterflies out of the window, or curled up on a sunny spot in the sun. Gabby had a polyp removed from her ear (bulla osteotomy) July 2014, and the polyp has not returned. She needs her ears to be cleaned weekly to keep the debris from accumulating. She also has Glaucoma in her left eye. She gets eye drops applied as follows: Flurbiprofen ($17 bottle) 1 drop to the left eye once daily and Dorzolamide ($68 a bottle) 1 drop to both eyes twice daily. These prices are through Walgreens. Since I am signed up with Walgreens prescription program ($20 yearly membership fee), the Flurbiprofen is $15 bottle and the Dorzolamide drops to $15 a bottle. She visits the eye doctor every 6 months to check her eye pressure. She is currently stable. Gabby is up-to-date on all of her shots and is completely litter boxed trained.
