Diesel (Neutered)'s Story...
"Diesel" is a handsome one-year old male Pit Bull Terrier mix who was surrendered by his owner on September 12, 2015. This gorgeous guy has a tan-and-white short smooth coat, a long tail, and a noble-looking face with a wrinkled brow and short semi-erect ears. "Diesel" had just arrived at our shelter when we took his 'passport photos', and he was most anxious to check out his new surroundings outdoors. He adored our young female kennel tech who helped him with his pictures and showered her with kisses :) "Diesel" weighs 68.6 lbs. and is pretty strong on the other end of a leash. Our shelter staff will be assessing his likes/dislikes to determine how he feels about other dogs and cats~ "Diesel" was neutered on October 30, 2015 and was also given rabies vaccine. He went home with one of our fantastic foster dogs on May 30, 2016.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diesel (Neutered), a Marietta Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
