Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello Families!!! My name is Jet 4 and I am a VERY sweet, one year old, 50 pound, black Lab mix. SCLRR rescued me from a local shelter and I REALLY appreciate it. Because of that I am very much trying to please and be a good boy. My foster mom says that I am a very fast learner.
At my foster house I live with two other dogs that are very nice and I love to give them kisses. They don’t like that very much so I know when it is time to leave them alone. I love playing with another dogs. I love kids all ages and I am very gentle with them. I haven’t been introduced to cats at all. My foster mommy says that I don’t have one mean bone in my body so I might be OK with them.
My favorite thing is to follow my humans around. I am very affectionate and I love to curl up next to my people. At night I am sleeping quietly on my dog bed in my foster parents bedroom.
My foster mom says I am a VERY good boy. I do not destroy things like some other dogs but I still have some of the bouncy playful energy that most young Labs have. My foster mom says I am a medium energy dog so an active family would be great for me. I LOVE going out for walks because I like to explore. I have decent leash skills but there is some work to do there because of my exuberance of being outside.
I am well behaved in the house and when nobody is home I have partial run of the house and yard. I never go potty in the house; I heard that is a big NO-NO so I learned quickly how to use the doggie door. I know sit and stay and I will do anything for a treat. Feeding time is my favorite time of the day.
I am really looking forward to my forever home so if you think I sound like your type of guy contact your family rep right away. My foster mom is great at giving me lots of love, but the more I hear about these ‘forever families’ the more I think I should probably get one of my own.
Have a Wonderful Day, families. I can’t wait to meet you!
