Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*** check out the latest video of Sugar and her best bud Agatha playing tug-of-war in their foster home by viewing her profile on Petfinder! ***
Meet Sugar! Sugar is an adorable small mix-breed who is 30-pounds and under two years of age. Sugar is a distemper survivor! Her team went through great lengths to save Sugar and she miraculously made it through, all thanks to grace and her wonderful foster-team and veterinarians. Her distemper never led to any seizures, but it did leave her with hyperkeratosis which is a hardening of the paws and nose. Thankfully, with lot's of love and TLC she's doing wonderfully! Our vets do not anticipate any major health problems as a result of her contracting distemper in her earlier life and have given her a clean bill of health. She eats just fine, she goes to the bathroom just fine, loves to go on walks and enjoys the beach! She has an excellent appetite, enjoys cuddling with people and playing with other dogs and trips to the dog run. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and is so easy going. Her foster mom cannot say enough good things about her!
Sugar is being fostered in NYC - so you can meet her!
