Beat it down to Friendship for Bubba. He's a 6 year old Yellow Lab mix that's just a sweetheart of a dog. Bubba came in with his housemate Mia. You can see her photo bombing him in the first photo. His owner had to surrender them because she was too ill to care for them any longer. Bubba has always been an outdoor dog. He has kept a clean kennel since his arrival. His owner said that Bubba has a high prey drive and will chase critters if not in a fenced in yard. Bubba is a super friendly fellow that would love a family that will not only adopt him but make him part of their indoor life too. Bubba recently represented Friendship and marched in the Woolly Bear parade and didn't miss a step!
On November 02, 2015, Bubba was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison which puts his return date around late January or February. Prison Dogs cannot be visited during their training. All dogs return on an individual basis.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
